Test mode: remove the guidance
Once you have learned a line, enter Test mode and play it from memory without coaching or hints. A line passes only with 100% accuracy: no mistakes and no hint used.
Prepare for opponents who leave the book
Understanding gives you something memorisation cannot. When an opponent varies, you can compare candidate moves using the opening’s underlying concepts instead of feeling lost because the remembered sequence has ended.
